MassCEC has a new online tool that you’ll just love to explore! CleanEnergyEducation.org helps connect you to potential careers in clean energy that are supported by education and training programs in Massachusetts.

Recognizing that many people know which job they’d like to have, but not necessarily how to get there, MassCEC’s Workforce Development Team developed a fun, interactive tool to help you discover your ideal clean energy career through the new Career Pathways map. It focuses on five categories related to clean energy: Green Construction, Engineering & Research, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Business Development & Marketing, Policy & Government.

Each of the categories contains a chart with relevant entry-level, mid-level, and advanced job examples with career pathway connections. When you choose one of the jobs on the explore chart, more information about that job is populated such as median salary, education and training requirements, a job scenario, and typical tasks.

To take it one step further, specific education and training programs located throughout Massachusetts are directly linked to the most relevant career category. This aspect of the online tool makes getting started in a clean energy career that much easier!

This website will be constantly growing and is also a great way to promote your school or company program. We are always looking for new program offerings to add to the website, so please share yours! Just click on “Suggest a Listing” at top of each page and submit your program for us to add.

Careers in Clean Energy are the future, begin your journey now!
