It’s that time of year again!
The time of year when we celebrate the women of the energy and environmental fields who bring knowledge, passion and innovation to the energy sector; women who have made tremendous strides and continue to encourage women around the world to achieve excellence.
New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE) is currently accepting nominations for women that are making a difference within these field and helping to pave the way for other women. The winners will be celebrated at the organization's spring gala.
Last year’s honorees - Susan Coakley, Mary Beth Gentleman, Rebecca Tepper, and Sue Tierney - were chosen among a large group of successful women based on their exceptional track record in areas including professional excellence and leadership, influencing public policy, developing new concepts and mentoring other women in their area of expertise.
The deadline for nominations for these awards is 5 p.m. on January 24, 2014. As an extra benefit, the submitter of the nomination will get a one-year NEWIEE membership to be given as a gift to the woman of their choice.
This event is a chance to celebrate the contributions of women all over the New England energy and environmental fields, so make sure the exceptional women you know get the recognition they deserve, and get your nominations in!
