Hydropower

The Commonwealth Hydro Program is now accepting solicitations

MassCEC's Hydropower program seeks to increase the output of the Commonwealth’s hydropower assets by providing grants to ecologically-appropriate projects that can be implemented quickly and efficiently.

Solar Hot Water

MassCEC’s Solar Hot Water program providesdrebates for the installation of solar hot water (SHW) systems at businesses across Massachusetts. This program is part of MassCEC’s suite of Clean Heating and Cooling programs, which support technologies that provide customer cost savings and environmental benefits while maintaining a high level of comfort and reliability.

How much funding can my business receive?

VRF systems are eligible for rebates up to $180,000, or up to $250,000 for projects at affordable housing developments.

Small-scale mini-split projects are eligible for rebates of up to $12,000, with higher incentives up to $30,000 for projects at affordable housing.

Commercial-scale mini-split systems are eligible for rebates of up to $93,750, or up to $225,000 for affordable housing projects.

The Immersion Summer 2016 is a one-month eye-opening experience in Boston where 32 Social Entrepreneurs, representing 15 international startups, have had the opportunity to explore Boston's advanced Social Innovation ecosystems. During this month, each startup has worked on preparing their social value proposition and problem-solution fit to enter the US market. 

On July 27th we will run our final event at WeWork to say goodbye to the first edition of the Richi Social Entrepreneurs Immersion Program. It will include a short pitch by the startups, and then networking time with food and drinks. How much funding will my business receive?

Small-scale systems are eligible for awards of up to $27,000, and commercial-scale systems are eligible for up to $250,000. The awards are based on a percentage of eligible project costs (as defined in the Program Manual), with “adders” for thermal storage, cascading systems, distribution system efficiency, public and non-profit entities, and for multifamily affordable housing developments, of up to $250,000.  More details can be found in Section 3 of the Small-Scale Program Manual and Commercial-Scale Program Manual.
