As the clean energy sector continues to grow in Massachusetts, MassCEC is committed to running programs that connect the state’s clean energy companies with the workers they need to keep and expand their operations in the Commonwealth.

MassCEC offers opportunities for college students and recent graduates to work at paid internships at existing companies, funds programs that provide on-the-job training for low- and moderate-income workers looking to improve their financial standing and supports programs that help teach students the skills they need to succeed in the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program – MassCEC's Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program connects students and recent graduates with Massachusetts clean energy companies seeking to employ interns. MassCEC provides stipends for interns during fall, spring and summer sessions.

Massachusetts Clean Energy Careers Training and Education Directory – Connects energy efficiency and renewable energy industry professionals, job seekers and students with education and training opportunities throughout the state.

The LEED Exam Prep Course is a comprehensive course which will prepare attendees for the Green Associate and other specialty exams. The day long curriculum is designed to cover the segments of the Green Associate Exam and to lightly cover the AP specialty exams. If you have specific questions regarding a specialty exam, feel free to bring these questions to class and have the instructor cover these identified areas.

Heat Pump and Variable Refrigerant Flow Technology Training

Calling architects, building owners and managers, energy professionals, and HVAC contractors for an introduction to energy-efficient heat pump and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology. This training will include how these technologies work, comparisons to other heating and cooling equipment, how to identify appropriate applications, and how to earn incentives toward installation costs from MassCEC. Additionally, case studies will be presented as well as next steps for including VRF in your projects.

NESEA's LEED Platinum Urban Community Development Pro Tour

Join NESEA's 2018 Pro Tour Series with a visit to an ongoing LEED certified community development project in East Boston. See the beginings of a planned 373 unit project that will include a community center, managemnet office and public park. The spaces in the development are being built with a tight thermal envelope, triple glazed windows, heat recovery systems, and VRF systems. Along with the tour, the event will include presentaitons by NESEA and the project host as well as a Q&A panel with members of the project team.
