EarthTech Expo is the culmination of the Cape Cod Technology Council’s EarthTech Month, a 30-day celebration of the technologies that can help us to more gently coexist with our environment. Throughout the day, you will be can engage with providers of energy-saving and environmentally-sustainable technologies. Several talks throughout the day will provide specific information about the need for these technologies and options for implementation.  This is a free event but we encourage you to register.

Citizens are bombarded with advice on actions they should take to address the catastrophic impacts of global warming resulting in climate change.  Install this. Buy that. Do or don’t do something else. Attend this Belmont Energy Committee forum to learn what are the most important steps YOU and the Town can take to really make a difference in preventing global warming and climate change. Hear from experts about how the world of 2035 can and will differ from the world we know today.

Come to the first of our HeatSmart kickoff events from 7:00-9:00pm on Sunday, March 31  in Winchester to learn more about the program and your options for energy and carbon-saving clean heating and cooling. HeatSmart Arlington-Winchester is kicking off with two events, the second of which is in Winchester on Sunday, March 31, 7:00-9:00pm. Come learn more about how HeatSmart can help you reduce your energy bill and carbon footprint with the adoption of clean heating and cooling technologies. This event will feature residents from our towns who have already adopted these technologies, as well as an educational presentation from the HeatSmart team. Residents from both Arlington and Winchester are welcome at either event, though an earlier event will be held on March 28 at the Arlington Town Hall.

This year's ENERGY theme will highlight opportunities for Arlington residents to make energy-conserving and renewable energy decisions relating to home heating/cooling, electricity purchasing, and transportation options, and to start planning for the next steps to take on the path to a clean energy future.
