Residential incentives offered by MassCEC include rebate programs for solar electricity and solar hot water, vouchers for the replacement wood-burning heating units and assistance with other technologies.

NESEA's LEED Platinum Urban Community Development Pro Tour

Join NESEA's 2018 Pro Tour Series with a visit to an ongoing LEED certified community development project in East Boston. See the beginings of a planned 373 unit project that will include a community center, managemnet office and public park. The spaces in the development are being built with a tight thermal envelope, triple glazed windows, heat recovery systems, and VRF systems. Along with the tour, the event will include presentaitons by NESEA and the project host as well as a Q&A panel with members of the project team.

Join NESEA's 2018 Pro Tour Series with a visit to Efficiency Vermont's 2018 Best of the Best building winner. See details of the home that's ecological material selection includes lime plaster walls, milk paint, wool insulation, and mushroom foam insulation. The project also includes a 7.7 KW roof-mounted photovoltaic array to offset 100% of onsite energy demand. Along with the tour of the building, the event will include presentaitons by NESEA and the project host as well as a Q&A panel with members of the project team.

Come down to Dane Street Beach with ReVision Energy and Salem Sound Coastwatch (SSCW) on August 7th. Join them for a beach clean up from 3-5pm and then head to the Salem Sound Coastwatch Office afterward for free ice cream from Melt! Stick around to meet members of each office, and check out a touch tank and augmented reality sand table.

Bags and gloves will be provided and remember to bring a water and wear sturdy shoes.

HeatSmart Mass

HeatSmart Massachusetts (HeatSmart Mass) seeks to increase the adoption of small-scale clean heating and cooling technologies in participating communities through a competitive solicitation process that aggregates homeowner buying power to lower installation prices for participants.

Automated Wood Heating

MassCEC offered rebates to homeowners who installed qualifying automated wood heating systems. This program is part of MassCEC’s Clean Heating and Cooling program, which supports technologies that provide customer cost-savings and environmental benefits while maintaining a high level of comfort and reliability. As of August 2020, MassCEC is no longer accepting applications for the Residential Automated Wood Heat Program. 

Solarize Mass

Solarize Massachusetts (Solarize Mass) seeks to increase the adoption of small-scale solar electricity in participating communities through a competitive solicitation process that aggregates homeowner buying power to lower installation prices for participants.

Solarize Massachusetts Plus (Solarize Mass Plus) seeks to increase adoption of small-scale solar electricity and additional complementary technologies.
