MassCEC’s Clean Energy Internship Program helps to prepare the next generation of clean energy workers by funding internships at clean energy companies all over the state. Students who participate in this program gain invaluable experience working in the clean energy sector. The program has placed 2,521 interns since its inception in 2011, with 409 of those interns going on to receive full-time employment at their host companies following the conclusion of their internship. The Clean Energy Internship Program provides MA startups with a consistent pipeline of high-quality student talent to help them build their business.

Joaquin Dufeu, a student at the MIT Sloan School of Management, participated in the Clean Energy Internship Program’s summer 2017 round. Through the program he was able to complete an internship at Rhapsody Venture Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm that specializes in scientific innovation. “Programs like this one are very appreciated, as it enables students to pursue summer internship opportunities that wouldn’t exist without this kind of support,” Joaquin said.
