Sunwealth is a clean energy investment firm focused on expanding access to renewable energy across our diverse built environment. The company makes it possible for investors to put their money to work directly in a diverse and inclusive portfolio of high performing commercial solar projects – creating solar access and energy savings, jobs and clean renewable energy, while generating strong financial returns. Sunwealth was awarded a $150K convertible note through the Seed Investments (formerly AccelerateMass) program in 2016. Since receiving that award, the company has provided over $15 million in financing to support over 60 solar projects in 30 diverse communities. These projects created over 100 jobs at local solar developers and will generate close to $7 million in lifetime energy savings for power purchasers and will reduce carbon emissions by over 103,000 metric tons over the next two decades Sunwealth has six employees in its Somerville, MA headquarters. The City of Somerville named Sunwealth its 2017 Green Business of the Year.
